DNI Front line Run Urgent Appeal makes the News
The launch of the Dublin Neurological Institute 150km Front Line Run made the news across several press outlets bringing much needed publicity to the decimation of fund-raising activities by the COVID-19 pandemic and resultant lockdown.
The two day event was kicked off at our building No. 57 Eccles Street , a renovated Georgian House, adjacent to the Mater hospital. We were delighted that Jim Gavin, the outstanding manager that led the Dublin Senior GAA football team to 6 (including 5 in a row) All-Ireland Senior Football Championships lent his support and time to the appeal. Jim has been very generous with his support in previous years for our fundraising activities.
Jim was joined by Rebecca McDonnell and Prof. Tim Lynch (Clinical Director of the DNI). Rebecca a secretary at the DNI, organised the event and also plays for the Dublin Senior Ladies football team.
